According to the Women’s Philanthropy Institute’s research, less than 2% of total charitable giving goes to women’s and girls’ organizations.

Collective impact starts here

Created by women, run by women, and helping women, Uplift is a national nonprofit with an agile mindset of knocking down the barriers and removing the red tape that so many single mothers in crisis face when seeking financial assistance. Through our agile funding model, Uplift’s Grant Committee reviews and responds to applicant requests within 72 hours, eliminating the excruciating waiting period women in current crisis face in the United States.

Our corporate partnerships start at $5,000 and help to support Uplift’s direct-funding model, providing a solution that allows approved applicants direct cash assistance and the freedom to use their grant in ways they feel best meet the needs of her and her children.
